Apologetics is a Greek word (found in the New Testament) which means to defend (Philippians 1:17). It is used both offensively and defensively. In other words apologetics deals with proclaiming as well as giving a rational defense for why we believe what we believe as Christians (1 Peter 3:15). Apologetic conferences will provide information on how to better equip ourselves in sharing the gospel and answering difficult questions. There are various conferences held throughout the nation. If you are interested, simply look on the internet for the following conferences:

• SES National Apologetic Conference (Charlotte, NC)
• Ready Defense Ministries apologetic Conference (Cleveland, OH)

In addition, speakers such as Dr. Norman Geisler, JP Moreland, Hank
Hannegraaff, Ron Rhodes, and many other apologists are often invited
by local churches to speak on issues concerning the Christian faith and
doctrine.

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a
worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly
handles the word of truth.
